The Law Offices of Brent A. Devere opened in Austin in 1998. Originally, the focus of the law office was in general litigation and real estate law. However, over time, we have expanded into other practice areas, including personal injury and consumer litigation in order to service the many needs of our clients.
Our firm now handles a variety of litigation matters including and not limited to the following: commercial litigation, real estate litigation, real estate transactions, personal injury, premises liability, consumer litigation (including suits against collection agencies and payday lenders for fair debt collection practices act violations), trucking accidents, automobile accidents, partnership disputes, bankruptcy filings and criminal law.
Our firm has considerable experience in real estate law and real estate litigation. Brent A. Devere is board certified in both commercial and residential real estate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Our office also regularly joint ventures with a small and dedicated group of attorneys in our building at 1411 West Avenue in order to offer the best possible services to our clients.
We also offer very flexible payment plans and we regularly accept cases on a contingency fee. We also will accept cases on a mixed contingency fee whereby we reduce our hourly rate in exchange for a percent recovery/contingency fee.
